The Raptors are as perplexed as anyone when it comes to the team's lack of intensity.

They've met behind closed doors and have tried to communicate better on the floor.

For all their words and supposed good deeds, they have failed to play with any sense of urgency at both ends of the floor from the opening tip to the final whistle.

Co-captain Antonio Davis, for one, is at a loss for words at a time when the Raptors risk going under .500 with a three-game Western trip awaiting the 15-13 team.

"I don't know if we're just content with the way things are going or we just feel we can turn it up when we need to," Davis said. "Somewhere we have to find consistency in something."
