The Denver Nuggets are pushing an offer of J.J. Hickson and JaVale McGee for Brook Lopez.

The Brooklyn Nets have been firm in their refusal to take the offer.

The Oklahoma City Thunder were close to trading Reggie Jackson to the Denver Nuggets, according to a source.

Jackson is reportedly expected to be moved before the trade deadline.

Erick Green has been recalled from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the D-League by the Denver Nuggets.

Green played two games for the Mad Ants this season averaging 21 points and 3.0 assists per game.  

Ty Lawson was arrested early Friday morning for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Lawson was arrested in 2013 on a domestic violence charge that was eventually dropped.

Lawson is averaging 16.7 points, 9.9 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game this season for the Denver Nuggets.

"We have been made aware of an incident involving Ty Lawson early this morning," said Tim Connelly in a statement. "Per team policy and out of respect for the legal process, we will have no further comment at this time."

The average NBA franchise valuation is now a record $1.1 billion.

There are now 11 NBA teams worth at least $1 billion, compared to three a year ago.

The Los Angeles Lakers lead the way at $2.6 billion, up 93% over last year. 

The value of the New York Knicks shot up 79% to $2.5 billion, ranking the team second overall.

Rounding out the top five are the Chicago Bulls ($2 billion), Boston Celtics ($1.7 billion) and Los Angeles Clippers ($1.6 billion).

The Boston Celtics have agreed to trade Jameer Nelson to the Denver Nuggets for Nate Robinson

Robinson's camp expects him to be bought out by the Celtics on his $2.1 million deal.

Nelson is making $2.7 million this season and has a $3.2 million player option for next season.

Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Los Angeles Clippers and Nuggets previously discussed a trade. The Clippers are expected to attempt to sign Robinson once he clears waivers.

Robinson has been with the Nuggets since the 2013 offseason.

The Denver Nuggets are shopping Wilson Chandler hard as they try to acquire more future assets.

Chandler has a team option for the 2015-16 season left on his contract.

The Denver Nuggets are receiving trade interest in Arron Afflalo from the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers and Charlotte Hornets.

The Nuggets acquired Afflalo last offseason from the Orlando Magic and is on an expiring contract.

After trading away Timofey Mozgov, the Nuggets are essentially conceding the season and looking to turn existing players into long-term assets.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed in principle to acquire Timofey Mozgov from the Denver Nuggets for two first round draft picks.

Cleveland will send Denver two picks that it controls via Memphis and Oklahoma City and no other players will be involved. 

The protections on the Cavaliers' first rounder are 1-18 in 2015, 1-15 in 2016, 1-15 in 2017 and it becomes two second rounders after 2017.

The Cavaliers are absorbing Mozgov with a trade exception.

The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to pursue a trade for Timofey Mozgov of the Denver Nuggets.

The Nuggets have been reluctant to trade Mozgov.

The Cavaliers' best movable asset, Dion Waiters, was dealt on Monday for Iman Shumpert, J.R. Smith and a future first round pick.
