Bosh Questions Shaq's Big Scoring Night

Feb 28, 2009 10:33 AM

Phoenix's Shaquille O'Neal scored 45 points in a win against Toronto on Friday night, and Chris Bosh wasn't very happy about it.

"He was just camping down in the lane," Bosh said after the game. "I mean, if they're not calling three seconds ? I thought it was a rule, but I guess not."

The game marked Shaq's high-scoring effort since he put up 49 for the Lakers against the Celtics on March 21, 2003.

"It was cool," O'Neal said. "Guys were really looking for me. I've been saying all year if I can get those touches like that, I think I can do that every night."

Marion Expects More Intensity From Raptors

Feb 22, 2009 9:38 AM

Shawn Marion has played just two games as a member of the Raptors, but he is already showing frustration with a perceived lack of intensity from his teammates.

"Yeah, I'm pissed off," he said. "Hell, yeah, I want everybody pissed off."

Marion was especially upset after the team's lackadaisical 30-point loss to the Knicks on Friday night.

"The mood (yesterday) was to come here and get some work done," said Marion. "Everybody was kind of pissed off, nobody likes losing by 30 points, I don't care who you are.

"If you have any kind of pride or any kind of integrity, you don't like losing by that many points. We have to come in here (Sunday afternoon against the Knicks again) and be ready to fight like cats and dogs."
