The Clippers have acquired Willie Green in a sign-and-trade agreement with the Hawks for Sofoklis Schortsanitis.

A nine-year NBA veteran, Green has averaged 9.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists over his career.

The Trail Blazers beat the Hawks by a final score of 84-78 in Summer League play on Thursday.

Damian Lillard had 31 points and seven assists for Portland. Will Barton had 14 points and five boards and Meyers Leonard had nine points and 13 rebounds.

Mike Scott had 14 points and seven rebounds. John Jenkins scored 13 points on 6-for-11 shooting and Elijah Millsap had 11 points and four rebounds.

The Hawks defeated the Mavericks by a final score of 67-61 in Summer League play on Wednesday.

John Jenkins led Atlanta with 21 points on 8-for-11 shooting. Mike Scott added 11 points and seven rebounds and Keith Benson totaled eight points and six boards in 20 minutes.

Jae Crowder finished with 20 points and eight rebounds for Dallas. Bernard James had 11 points and 10 boards, while Dominique Jones stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, five rebounds and five assists in defeat.

The National Basketball Association and the NBA Development League, the official minor league of the NBA, announced the affiliation system for the 2012-13 season. An all-time high eleven NBA teams will have single NBA D-League affiliates including first-year partnerships between the Boston Celtics and Maine Red Claws and the Portland Trail Blazers and Idaho Stampede.

The Celtics defeated the Hawks by a final score of 87-69 in Summer League play on Monday.

Boston had five players in double-figures, led by Jared Sullinger and Kris Joseph scoring 14 apiece. Sullinger also had a team-high seven rebounds. Dionte Christmas and Jonathan Gibson had 11 points and Jamar Smith scored 10.

John Jenkins and Mike Scott each scored 12 points on 5-for-14 shooting from the floor. Keith Benson had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Atlanta Hawks today requested waivers on guard Jordan Farmar.

Farmar has signed a three-year deal with Anadolu Efes of Turkey.

Farmar was acquired from Brooklyn on July 11, along with Anthony Morrow, DeShawn Stevenson, Johan Petro, Jordan Williams, a first- and second-round pick, and other draft considerations, in exchange for Joe Johnson.

The Spurs defeated the Hawks by a final score of 82-76 in Summer League play on Sunday.

Kawhi Leonard scored 23 points to go with four rebounds and three assists. Cory Joseph had 18 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Eric Dawson had 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Atlanta was led by Keith Benson's 20 points and six rebounds.

The Hawks defeated the Wizards by a final score of 102-82 on Friday in the Vegas Summer League.

Keith Benson and John Jenkins led the Hawks with 19 points apiece. Brad Wanamaker added 13 points and six assists.

Bradley Beal scored 22 points on 14 shots from the floor in his Summer League debut with Washington. Chris Singleton had 20 points, eight rebounds and four steals. Jan Vesely had 11 points while also committing 10 personal fouls.

The Bulls and Hawks have agreed to a trade to send Kyle Korver to Atlanta.

The deal could be structured as a sign-and-trade involving Kirk Hinrich.
