Clippers Acquire Willie Green In Sign-And-Trade

The Clippers have acquired Willie Green in a sign-and-trade agreement with the Hawks for Sofoklis Schortsanitis.

A nine-year NBA veteran, Green has averaged 9.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists over his career.

Damian Lillard had 31 points and seven assists for Portland. Will Barton had 14 points and five boards and Meyers Leonard had nine points and 13 rebounds.

Mike Scott had 14 points and seven rebounds. John Jenkins scored 13 points on 6-for-11 shooting and Elijah Millsap had 11 points and four rebounds.

The Hawks defeated the Mavericks by a final score of 67-61 in Summer League play on Wednesday.

John Jenkins led Atlanta with 21 points on 8-for-11 shooting. Mike Scott added 11 points and seven rebounds and Keith Benson totaled eight points and six boards in 20 minutes.

Jae Crowder finished with 20 points and eight rebounds for Dallas. Bernard James had 11 points and 10 boards, while Dominique Jones stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, five rebounds and five assists in defeat.

Farmar has signed a three-year deal with Anadolu Efes of Turkey.

Farmar was acquired from Brooklyn on July 11, along with Anthony Morrow, DeShawn Stevenson, Johan Petro, Jordan Williams, a first- and second-round pick, and other draft considerations, in exchange for Joe Johnson.
